I did not see it, but before I start head-bashing, I'll offer this in my defense:

In "social media postings", the hyphen is arguably unnecessary as "social media" is already well understood as a unit, but "media postings" is not, so it's doubtful anyone will think this means "a media posting that is social".

Then again, there is no harm in using the hyphen either. I bet I haven't convinced you. :)

Yeah, not really. I would counterargue that the term "high school" has been around a hell of a lot longer than "social media," leaving the familiarity of the latter term open to question. That said, maybe the resident AI god agrees with you.
